ATHLIX

Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 2025

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how the service is used. ATHLIX uses cookies and similar technologies (such as session tokens and local storage) to operate the platform securely and effectively.

2. How We Use Cookies

ATHLIX uses cookies strictly for operational and security purposes. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or behavioral profiling.

Category Purpose Can you opt out?
Strictly Necessary Required Session management, authentication, CSRF protection. Required for the platform to function. No — disabling these will break login and app functionality.
Functional Language preference, academy context, and UI state across page loads. Partially — some preferences stored in local storage can be cleared via your browser.
Analytics Aggregate, anonymous usage metrics to improve the platform. No personal identifiers are linked. Yes — contact us to opt out.

3. Specific Cookies We Set

Cookie Name Type Duration Purpose
connect.sid Strictly Necessary 60 days (rolling) Authenticated session identifier. httpOnly, Secure, SameSite=None.
athlix_lang Functional Persistent (local storage) Stores your preferred language (ES/EN) so you don't need to select it on every visit.

4. Third-Party Services

Some third-party services used by ATHLIX may set their own cookies or use similar tracking technologies:

We do not integrate Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising network cookies.

5. Cookie Duration

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for the duration listed in Section 3. You can delete all cookies at any time through your browser settings.

6. Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in to ATHLIX. Here are links to cookie management guides for common browsers:

7. Mobile App

The ATHLIX mobile app (iOS / Android) does not use browser cookies. Authentication data is stored securely on your device using platform-provided secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore equivalent). This data is isolated to the ATHLIX app and is cleared when you log out.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of ATHLIX after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
