ATHLIX Technologies LLC ("ATHLIX", "we", "our", or "the Company") is committed to protecting the privacy of its users.   • Sports academy information, such as academy name, location, teams, staff, categories, and operational settings.
  • Athlete information, such as name, date of birth, team, category, attendance, progress, payment status, documents, and data related to sports management.
  • Parent, guardian, or responsible party information, when necessary to manage athletes, communications, payments, or authorizations.
  • Payment-related information, such as subscriptions, billing, receipts, charges, and payment status.
  • Application usage data, such as actions taken within the platform, access dates, device type, operating system, browser, approximate IP address, and technical information necessary to operate and protect the service.
  • Analytics and performance data, used to improve functionality, stability, security, and user experience.
  • SMS consent information, such as whether a user has opted in to receive transactional SMS messages, the date and time of consent, and related communication preferences.

ATHLIX does not store complete credit or debit card numbers. Payments are processed by external payment providers, such as Stripe.

Device Permissions, Camera, Photos, and Files

ATHLIX may request access to device features such as the camera, photos, gallery, or files only when the user chooses to use features related to images, documents, or records within the platform.

These permissions may be used for actions such as:

  • Capturing or uploading profile photos.
  • Adding photos of athletes, staff, teams, or academies.
  • Uploading documents related to the academy, athletes, parents/guardians, or operational records.
  • Attaching images or files required to operate the Service.
  • Updating visual or documentary information within the academy account.

Access to the camera, photos, or files is optional and is only activated when the user initiates an action that requires capturing, selecting, or uploading an image or document.

ATHLIX does not use the camera, photos, gallery, or files for advertising, behavioral tracking, or the sale of personal data.

Users may grant, deny, or revoke these permissions from their device settings.

How We Use Information

We use the information collected to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
  • Create and manage accounts for academies, users, athletes, teams, and staff.
  • Manage attendance, schedules, training sessions, payments, documents, communications, and operational records.
  • Process transactions, subscriptions, billing, and payment statuses.
  • Communicate with users, academies, administrators, parents, guardians, coaches, or staff when necessary.
  • Send operational notifications related to the use of the Service, including email, in-app, push, or SMS notifications when the user has provided the required contact information and applicable consent.
  • Send transactional SMS notifications related to account access, registrations, tryouts, payments, waivers, schedules, academy updates, and support when the user has opted in to receive SMS messages.
  • Improve functionality, performance, security, and user experience.
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, or security incidents.
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, or contractual obligations.

SMS Communications and Mobile Messaging Consent

ATHLIX may send transactional and account-related SMS text messages to users who provide their mobile phone number and actively opt in to receive SMS communications through the ATHLIX platform.

SMS messages may include tryout or registration confirmations, parent or guardian account invitations, payment reminders, waiver reminders, schedule updates, academy updates, account notifications, support-related messages, and other operational communications related to the use of ATHLIX.

SMS consent is collected when a user enters their mobile phone number and selects an optional SMS consent checkbox during registration, tryout signup, parent or guardian account setup, academy onboarding, or other account-related workflows.

By opting in to receive SMS messages, users agree to receive transactional SMS notifications from ATHLIX Technologies LLC related to their academy account, registrations, payments, waivers, schedules, support, and platform activity.

Message frequency may vary depending on account activity, academy activity, registrations, payment status, schedules, and support needs. Message and data rates may apply.

Users may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. Users may receive help by replying HELP.

SMS consent is not required to create an account, submit a registration form, register for a tryout, or use ATHLIX services.

ATHLIX does not sell, rent, share, or disclose mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information are used only to provide ATHLIX-related transactional, operational, support, and account communications.

Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data based on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • User consent.
  • Performance of a contract or provision of the Service.
  • Compliance with legal obligations.
  • Legitimate business interests, such as security, fraud prevention, product improvement, and platform operations.
  • Instructions from sports academies that use ATHLIX as part of their operations.

Where SMS communications are used, ATHLIX processes mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information based on the user's consent and the operational need to provide transactional communications related to the Service.

Payment Processing

Payments may be processed by external providers, such as Stripe or other payment processors.

ATHLIX does not store complete payment card data. Payment information may be collected and processed directly by the corresponding payment provider in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms of service.

ATHLIX may store limited payment-related information, such as:

  • Payment status.
  • Charge history.
  • Receipts.
  • Due dates.
  • Transaction identifiers.
  • Subscription plan.
  • Subscription status.

This information is used to operate billing features, access control, reports, and account management.

We do not sell personal data.

We may share information with third-party service providers only when necessary to operate, protect, support, or improve the Service, including:

Data Controller and Processor

Sports academies that use ATHLIX may act as data controllers with respect to information they collect, upload, or manage about athletes, parents, guardians, staff, and other users related to their organization.

ATHLIX acts as a technology provider and data processor, handling information on behalf of academies to provide the Service.

Each academy is responsible for obtaining the necessary consents, authorizations, and legal permissions before uploading, managing, or processing personal information, especially information related to minors.

Each academy is also responsible for ensuring that users, parents, guardians, athletes, staff, or other individuals provide appropriate consent before receiving communications through the ATHLIX platform, including SMS communications when applicable.

Children's Data

ATHLIX may process information related to minors, such as athletes registered by academies, parents, guardians, or authorized users.

ATHLIX is not directed at minors and does not intentionally collect information directly from minors without appropriate authorization.

Academies, parents, guardians, or authorized users represent that they have the necessary parental consents, legal authorizations, or permissions before submitting information related to minors.

If you believe information about a minor has been collected without proper authorization, you may contact us to request review or deletion of the relevant information.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to:

  • Provide the Service.
  • Maintain active accounts.
  • Comply with legal, tax, or regulatory obligations.
  • Resolve disputes.
  • Prevent fraud or abuse.
  • Enforce our agreements and policies.
  • Maintain records of SMS consent, opt-in, and opt-out preferences where required for compliance.

When information is no longer necessary, we may delete it, anonymize it, or retain it only as permitted or required by law.

ATHLIX does not use the camera, photos, files, SMS consent information, mobile phone numbers, or personal data for behavioral advertising or data sales.

If in the future ATHLIX uses advertising services, advertising identifiers, or similar tools, we will update this Privacy Policy and make the corresponding disclosures in the app stores and within the platform, as required.

Your information may be transferred, stored, or processed in the United States or other countries where ATHLIX or its service providers operate.

By using the Service, you agree that your information may be processed outside your country of residence, subject to reasonable data protection measures.

Third-party service providers that support SMS delivery may process mobile phone numbers only as necessary to provide transactional messaging services on behalf of ATHLIX. These providers are not permitted to use mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
